My newest cat (got her in November) has become attached to my ginger (Julian). When ever I sit down within 5 mins of coming home they are both on me.

Aww. I got my ginger because he was in love with my Maine Coon mix (The ginger was born feral in the back yard). Several years later he still follows her around and annoys the crap out of her.

My fuzzballs are not lap cats at all but will hang out behind me on the back of the couch or curl up next to me on the couch itself. Our 19 year old Calico is like Sheldon Cooper in that she has a spot on the couch and you better not take it.

I have a calico as well (Cali) indidnt name her that was it when I rescued her. Julian bugs her all the time, he wants to play and she wants non of it. I got Julian and Cali together.

Our Ms. Kitty and I have a ritual when I get home from work. She meets me at the door ( food food food), then runs over to the sofa and demands I sit down so she can occupy my lap- for about 3 mins. Then she is back in the kitchen eating.
